Anand Bag House

I’ve been running Anand Bag House near Arya Samaj Chowk for a long time now. People in Pimpri know where we are because we’ve been at this spot for ages. It’s just a small shop where we keep all kinds of bags. If you walk past the chowk, you’ll see us. It gets quite busy around here in the evenings. We started out with just a few basic school bags and some luggage pieces, but the collection grew over the years. We mostly handle local customers who live nearby or are just passing through the market. The shop isn't fancy or anything, just shelves stacked with whatever we have in stock at the moment. Sometimes it’s a bit messy when a new shipment comes in. We don’t really do fancy advertising, word of mouth is usually how people find out about us. My nephew helps me out on weekends when the crowd gets heavy. We keep everything from small purses to big travel bags. If something needs a minor stitch or a zip fix, we try to help out if we have the tools handy. It’s a simple business. We open early in the morning and stay until the lights in the chowk start dimming. Life in Pimpri is fast, but our shop feels like one of those steady places that doesn’t change much. We just focus on selling what people need for their daily travel or school.
