Alpha Industries

Alpha Industries is located out on the Pune Solapur Road 30. It’s a loud place most of the time. There is always some machine running or someone moving heavy materials around. We deal with industrial stuff, so it’s not exactly a clean or quiet environment. My clothes usually have some oil or dust on them by the end of the shift. That’s just the nature of the work. We’ve been operating from this location for several years. The Pune Solapur Road is always busy with big trucks and traffic, which makes sense for a business like ours. We don’t have a fancy front office with a receptionist. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll just see us working. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we have to. It’s more about the physical work here. Some days the machines act up and we have to spend hours getting them back on track. It’s frustrating but it’s part of the life. We aren't a huge corporation. Just a group of people making things and getting them out the door. We don't have a mission statement or anything. We just show up, do the work, and go home. It’s practical and it keeps us busy. The sun hits the metal roof in the afternoon and it gets quite hot, but we just keep at it until the day is done. That is life at Alpha Industries.
