Akzo Noble Chemicals (I) Ltd.

Our office for Akzo Noble Chemicals is up on the fourth floor of Century Arcade. We are located on Narangi Baug Road, just off the Boat Club area, which is a fairly busy part of town. It’s a bit of a different world up here compared to the warehouses or factories. We spend most of our time at our desks, handling the administrative side of the chemical business. The building has a lot of other offices, so there’s always people coming and going in the elevators. From our windows, you can see a bit of the surrounding neighborhood, though we’re usually too busy with spreadsheets and phone calls to look out much. It’s not a huge office, just enough space for the team to get through the daily tasks. We deal with a lot of coordination between the production sites and the customers who need our products. It can get a bit noisy when everyone is on the phone at once, but we’re a tight-knit group and we make it work. We’ve got a small pantry where we have our tea and talk about things other than work for a few minutes. Navigating the traffic on the way to the office can be a bit of a headache, especially during peak hours, but once you’re inside, it’s a focused environment. We don't go in for fancy decor; it’s just a place where we come to do our jobs and then head home.
