Akshya Traders

We run Akshya Traders right at the corner of Shriram Chowk. It is a very busy spot because of all the traffic on the Indapur Akluj Road. There are always big trucks passing by and kicking up a lot of dust from the road. Our place is not anything special to look at, just a large open space where we keep all the goods we trade. We deal with a lot of different items depending on what the local people are asking for here in Indapur. G M Palya is just a short distance down the way. We usually start our day pretty early in the morning before the sun gets too high and the heat becomes a problem. By the middle of the day, the tin roof makes it quite warm inside the warehouse, so we usually sit near the front door where there is a bit of a breeze. It involves a lot of heavy loading and unloading throughout the week. We know all the truck drivers and the local farmers who stop by to pick up supplies. We do not use fancy computers for every little thing; a lot of our records are still kept in paper ledgers. The floor is just plain concrete and we have stacks of bags and wooden crates everywhere. It is a working environment, not a shop meant for browsing. We have been at Shriram Chowk for years now and it is a simple life.
