Advance Computer Services Center

Down here at 104 in Sudama Nagar, things stay pretty busy with all the broken machines people bring in. We are right by Ambzari Hill Top, so it’s a decent climb to get to us. Nagpur gets really hot, so we try to keep the fans running while we take apart laptops and desktops. Advance Computer Services Center isn’t a fancy showroom with glass walls. It’s more of a workshop where there are wires everywhere and spare parts on the shelves. People come by when their screen freezes or if a printer stops working right when they need it. We’ve been at this Shankar Nagar location for a while. Sometimes it’s just small software issues, other times we are soldering things late into the evening. We don’t use a lot of big words to explain what’s wrong with a computer. We just tell you what needs fixing and how much it’ll cost. It’s honest work. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which is good for focusing on the tiny screws. We see all sorts of folks, from students needing their laptops for projects to older people who can't get their internet to connect. It’s just me and a couple of others handling the repairs. We’ve got a small desk at the front and a lot of workbenches in the back. That’s pretty much the whole story of our little center here in Nagpur. We keep things moving and try to help everyone who walks through the door.
