Our workplace is right on Singhad Road in Pune, inside the Suvarna Nagri Appartment complex. We are in Flat No. 2, sections A and B. It’s a busy part of Pune, and being on Singhad Road means there is always something going on outside. We are Ada Cellworks Wireless Engineering Pvt Ltd. We handle a lot of the behind-the-scenes technical work for wireless networks. Our office is basically a flat that we’ve converted into a workspace. It’s not very corporate, which suits us just fine. There’s usually a pile of blueprints on the table and some testing equipment near the door. The team spends most of their time out at various sites across the city, but this is where we regroup and figure out the technical problems. Pune is growing so fast that there is always more wireless work to be done. We’ve been in this apartment for a while now, and the neighbors are used to seeing us coming and going with our gear. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t spend money on big advertisements or fancy furniture. We just focus on getting the engineering right. Sometimes the traffic on Singhad Road makes it hard to get out quickly, but we manage.
