Arun Sound

Our workshop is at Plot No 127/6 in the Doddanna Industrial Estate, over near Parvati 11th Cross. We’re part of the Shiv Darshan Society on Taware Colony Road. It’s an industrial area, so it’s always got that smell of grease and metal. Arun Sound has been around here for years. We mostly deal with speakers, cables, and all the gear you need to make things loud. It’s a bit of a maze in this estate, but once you find us, you’ll see we have stacks of equipment everywhere. It’s not a clean place. There’s dust on the boxes and wires tangled in corners. We know where everything is, though. We spend our days testing equipment and fixing things that got banged up at the last show. We aren't corporate types. We wear old t-shirts and jeans because we're always crawling around under stages. People come to us when they need sound, and we give it to them. We don't talk about "audio solutions" or anything like that. We just talk about what speakers you need and where the power outlets are. It’s practical work. Sometimes the neighbors complain when we test the subwoofers, but that’s just part of life in the estate. We’re just a local crew doing our thing in Parvati. It can be a loud life, but it is the one we chose and we are fine with it.
