Finding us in Sadashiv Peth can be a bit of a puzzle if you don’t know the area well. We are over at Shivalaya Apartment, right near the Bharatnatya Mandir Chowk and the SBI Bank. The lanes around here are narrow, so parking is always a bit of a nightmare. Inside the shop, it’s mostly piles of keyboards, monitors, and tangled cables. We spend our hours squinting at small screws and trying to figure out why a motherboard isn't booting up. It’s quiet work for the most part, punctuated by the sound of cooling fans. People come in with laptops that have seen better days, and we do what we can. Being near the bank means we get a lot of foot traffic, but most people are just passing through. The apartment building itself is quite old, so the walls are thick and it stays relatively cool inside. We have a couple of workbenches that are cluttered with tools and thermal paste. It’s not a shiny showroom like you’d see in a mall. It’s a practical space where we fix things. Sometimes we get a stubborn virus that takes all day to clear out. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for software to install. It’s a steady pace of life here in Peth. We’ve been here long enough that the local shopkeepers all know us by name.
