Abhiraj Real Estate Consultant is located over on Sinhagad Road in the C C I Colony. We are specifically at Shop No 7 in Lane No 1. It is a small office, mostly just a couple of desks and some chairs for people to sit while we talk about houses and plots. Being in Goregaon West means we see a lot of people moving in and out of the neighborhood. I spend a lot of my time walking up and down the lanes here, checking which buildings have new boards up or which flats are empty. People stop me on the street sometimes just to ask what the prices are doing lately. It is a lot of talking and a lot of phone calls. The office can get a bit crowded when a whole family comes in to discuss a lease. Lane No 1 is usually a bit quieter than the main road, which I like. We keep maps and some old files on the shelves. It isn't a big corporate setup; it’s just us helping neighbors find a place to stay or sell their old apartments. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a break. Most of the day is spent keeping track of who is selling what and making sure the paperwork isn't too messy. It’s just how things work here in the colony.
