7 Space Designers

We are located at Sadashiv Peth, specifically Gandhi Nagar 2/515. If you know this area, you know how tight the streets can be and how much energy there is around here. Our office is right in the thick of it. We started out small and we've stayed pretty much that way. Designing spaces in an area like this means you have to be practical because nobody has extra room to waste. We spend a lot of our day sketching out ideas on whatever paper is nearby. Our desks are a disaster zone of pens, rulers, and half-empty water bottles. We don't have a receptionist, so we just shout to each other across the room when the phone rings. It’s a bit chaotic, but it works for us. We do a lot of walking to nearby sites because it’s faster than driving through the Sadashiv Peth traffic. Our shoes get worn out pretty fast. We aren't flashy people. We just focus on the task at hand, whether it’s a kitchen or a whole living room. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to chat or complain about the weather. We listen while we keep working. It feels like being part of a big family around here. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on people seeing what we did for their cousin or friend and then giving us a call. It is just the way things work in this neighborhood.
