Sri Urumanathar Earth Movers

We set up Sri Urumanathar Earth Movers right here in Sri Mangala Nayaki Amman Nagar. It’s a decent area in Perungalur, not too far from the main road. We’ve got our equipment parked out back most of the time. The sun beats down pretty hard on the machinery, so we’re always out there with a cloth or a wrench. Perungalur is growing fast, and there’s always someone needing a bit of earth moved or a foundation cleared. We’re just a small group of guys who grew up around here. My uncle started the business, and now we all just pitch in. It’s not a fancy corporate setup. Our office is just a room where we keep the keys and the ledgers. You can usually find us covered in a bit of dirt by lunchtime. We know the land around Sri Mangala Nayaki Amman Nagar pretty well, every rocky patch and sandy bit. The neighbors are good people, and we try to keep the noise down when we can, but these machines are loud. Sometimes we have to work weekends if a project is running behind. It’s a lot of physical work, keeping the treads clean and the hydraulics working. We don’t do much advertising; people just see our name on the side of the trucks and give us a call or walk in. It’s a honest way to spend the day, working under the open sky.
