Deboki Apparels

We have been running Deboki Apparels for quite some time now at No.214 Pudud Nagargovindasalai. It is a busy spot and we spend most of our daylight hours surrounded by stacks of fabric and half-finished garments. The sewing machines make a constant noise that we have just gotten used to over the years. Some days are much busier than others, especially when we have several orders that need to be finished at the same time. We usually start early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a place where we do our work and keep our things organized. You can find us right there on the main road. Most people in the neighborhood know where we are. We handle various types of clothing and try to stay on top of the pile. Sometimes the thread tangles or a machine breaks down, which slows us down, but we just fix it and keep going. We don't spend much time talking about what we do, we just get on with the cutting and the stitching. The space is a bit cramped because of all the rolls of cloth sitting around the corners. It smells like fresh cotton and sometimes the tea we drink in the afternoons. We’ve stayed in this same location for a while now and the locals know to just drop by if they need something for their own shops.
