Olive De Auroville

We are sitting right on the main road in Auroville, just between Tanto and the Team Transport office. It's a spot that’s easy to find if you’re driving through this part of Pondicherry. We have been here for a while now, just doing our thing day by day. The place isn't anything fancy or polished like the big spots in the city. We just have some tables and a roof over our heads. A lot of people stop by when they are tired of the sun or just need a break from the road. The traffic can be a bit much sometimes outside, but that is how life is on the main road. We don't have some big corporate plan or anything. It's just us, the staff, and whatever we are cooking up that day. My brother helps out with the supplies, and we mostly know the neighbors. Sometimes we run out of things if the truck is late, but we make do. It's a local business, through and through. We see a lot of travelers coming from the Pondicherry side, and we also get the regulars who live just down the street. It’s a bit dusty outside because of the construction nearby, but inside it’s okay. We keep the fans going and hope for a breeze. That's pretty much all there is to it. We just show up every morning and open the doors for whoever walks in.
