L G B Forge Ltd is situated at 621, Villiyanur. If you happen to be in this part of town, you will probably hear the hammers going before you see our gate. Working in a forge means dealing with a lot of heat and a lot of noise every single day. It is not the kind of job for someone who likes to stay clean. By the time the sun goes down, most of us are covered in soot and sweat. Villiyanur is a place where people know the value of a hard day's work. The building at 621 has been standing for a while and it has seen a lot of metal pass through its doors. We don't have any flashy signs or a fancy reception area. You just walk in and see the guys working the machines. The floor is hard concrete and the air is always thick with the smell of hot iron. Sometimes the heat gets to be a bit much, especially in the summer months, but we just drink plenty of water and keep moving. There is a sense of pride in making things with your own hands, even if it’s loud and exhausting work. Most of the staff have been here for years and we all know the routine by heart. We just show up, do the work, and head home to our families to rest up for the next shift.
