Annai Engineering Works

We've been over here at A-14 in the Rual Industrial Estate for a while now. Kottucherry is where we set up shop. It's a busy spot, especially around the El Steel Laminations area. Some days it gets pretty loud with all the metal work going on, but that is just how it is in this line of business. People around here know where to find us. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just the workshop and our tools. Most of the guys have been here since the start. We mostly just focus on getting the jobs done as they come in. If someone brings something in, we look at it and see if we can fix it or make it. There is always plenty of dust and the smell of oil in the air. That is normal for an engineering place. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine acts up, and we have to spend the afternoon tinkering with it. It’s not always easy work, and your hands get dirty five minutes after you start. But we like being part of the local estate. There are plenty of other shops nearby, so there’s always someone to chat with during a tea break. We just keep our heads down and keep the machines running. It is a simple setup, but it works for what we do. We don't worry about being the biggest, just about doing the work that's right in front of us.
