Siddeswara Eco Blocks

Our place is at 35 Korrapadu Road in Puthoor. It's mostly just a big open space where we handle the eco blocks. Making these is a bit different from the old-fashioned red bricks, but we’ve gotten the hang of it over the years. The yard stays pretty dusty most of the time. We have a few machines that do the heavy lifting, though there’s still plenty of manual work to do every day. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit around waiting for it to come back on so we can finish the batch. That’s just how it goes here. We don’t really do much advertising. People usually just hear about us from their neighbors or see the sign when they’re driving into town. It’s a family-run thing mostly. My brother handles the deliveries and I stay back to watch the production. We try to keep enough stock on hand so nobody has to wait too long. It’s a lot of lifting and moving things around. By the time evening rolls around, everyone is pretty worn out. We sit by the small shack we built near the entrance and have some tea before heading home. It's a simple life, just making blocks and trying to keep the machines running smoothly. The Korrapadu Road gets busy in the mornings, but it quiets down later on.
