Our business is out in Chilamakuru, at number 45 in Muddanur. We focus on fly ash bricks. It’s a bit of a dusty operation, as you might expect. We’ve been set up here for a while now, and we know the area well. Most of our days are spent out in the yard, overseeing the mixing and the molding. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean. We have some machines that help us out, but there’s still plenty of manual work to be done. The location in Muddanur works well for getting materials in and out. We don't really do any big advertising. People mostly find us because they live nearby or they've heard about us from a neighbor. We just keep our heads down and get the bricks made. We see the same truck drivers every week and they’ve become more like friends over time. It’s just what we do. In Chilamakuru, things move a bit slower, which suits us just fine. Making fly ash bricks is a messy business, and we are usually covered in gray dust by mid-morning. We have a couple of machines that press the bricks, and they make a steady thumping sound.
