A.M.I.College

A.M.I.College is right here in Vill Chamanganj, not too far from the main part of Jhunsi. It’s a quiet spot for the most part, though things get busy when the morning session starts and students begin to arrive. People around Allahabad know the Hetapur area well enough. We’ve been here for a while now, just doing what we do every day. The building isn't fancy, but it gets the job done for the students who come from the nearby villages. Usually, you’ll see some kids sitting under the trees during their breaks if it isn't too hot out. Most of our staff lives close by, so they walk or take a rickshaw to get to work. It’s pretty standard stuff really. We spend a lot of time making sure the registers are updated and the classrooms are ready for the next lesson. Sometimes the power goes out, but that’s just how it is around here. We don't have a big cafeteria or anything like that, just some local tea stalls right outside the main gate where everyone gathers for a glass of chai. It’s a simple setup. We focus on the books and the exams mostly. There is always someone at the front desk if you need to ask about admissions or paperwork. It stays quite dusty because of the road, but we try to keep the place tidy. If you’re looking for us, just ask anyone in Hetapur, they’ll point you toward the college. It's just a regular part of the neighborhood life that happens every day.
