The Engineer

The Engineer is tucked away on Taskant Marg in the Civil Lines area of Allahabad. If you are looking for the entrance, it is right below Redz Salon. It is a pretty central location, so it is easy to reach from most parts of the city. The office isn't very large, but it serves the purpose for what we need. We have some desks and a small area where students can sit and wait or talk about their lessons. Civil Lines is a bit nicer than other parts of town, but it still has its share of noise and traffic. Being below a salon means there is always people coming and going nearby. We spend most of our time focused on the technical subjects. There are books piled up on the tables and notes scattered around. It is the kind of place where things look a bit messy because work is actually getting done. We don't have a receptionist or anything; usually, one of us just looks up from our work when someone walks in the door. The lighting is okay, though we added a few extra lamps to help with reading in the evenings. Most of our students are preparing for their exams and they stay for a few hours at a time. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, someone’s brother or cousin told them about us and that’s how they end up here at Taskant Marg.
