Sarveshwari P G College

Sarveshwari P G College is situated in the Dhanuha area of Chaka, near Naini in Allahabad. Being a postgraduate college, the atmosphere here is a bit different than a primary or secondary school. The students are older and they usually come in on their own motorcycles or by taking the local tempos from around the 211008 area. The campus is not massive, but we have enough room for the different departments and a small library that stays pretty quiet most of the time. The buildings are made of concrete and brick, and they soak up the heat during the day, so the ceiling fans are always running at full speed. We have a small canteen where the students sit and talk about their exams or just hang out between their lectures. The administrative office is usually the busiest place on the grounds, especially when it is time to submit forms or check the results on the notice board. We have some trees that provide a bit of relief from the sun, and you will often see groups of students sitting on the low walls under the shade. It is not a flashy institution with glass buildings, but it serves the people of Naini who are looking to continue their studies after they finish their basic degrees. We just keep the doors open and follow the university schedule as best as we can every year.
