Our office is over in Naini, Allahabad, specifically at 24 Gandhi Nagar on Kazipur Road. It’s a fairly well-known area. The building is a standard one, nothing that really stands out from the street. We do engineering and contracting work. This means a lot of time spent on site, but this is where we come back to do the drawings and the billing. The office is often a bit messy with blueprints and measuring tapes. We’ve got a couple of old desks and chairs that have seen better days. But they are comfortable enough. The traffic on Kazipur Road can be a real headache during rush hour, so we try to time our site visits around it. Allahabad gets really hot in the summer, and the dust from the road tends to find its way inside no matter how much we clean. We’ve been operating from this Gandhi Nagar spot for quite some time now. People in the local community know us. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm out there. We just want to do a decent job on the contracts we take. We hire local guys when we can. It’s a small operation, really. We just take things one project at a time and try to keep the paperwork from piling up too high. If a project is running behind, we stay until it’s caught up. We’ve got some old fans that wobble a lot, but they keep the air moving.
