P T R D Mishra I College

Out in Vill Khaptiha, life is mostly about the land and the seasons. Our college, P T R D Mishra I College, sits right in the heart of this village area in Allahabad. It’s a quiet place, far away from the noise of the main city. Most of our students come from farming families, and they often have to balance their studies with helping out at home. The roads around here can be a bit rough, especially after it rains, but the students still make it to class. We have a basic building with several rooms and a small area where everyone gathers. We don't have many resources, so we make do with what we have. A lot of the learning happens through talking and sharing ideas rather than using high-tech tools. We focus on the subjects that will help these young people find jobs or go on to further study. The post office is nearby, and that’s a bit of a hub for the village. On hot days, we sit under the shade of the trees during the break to catch a little breeze. We aren't a big institution with fancy slogans. We are just a local college trying to provide an education to people who might not have many other options. It’s honest work, and we take it one day at a time, watching the students grow up and move on to better things in their lives after they finish here.
