L. C. Foods Ltd.

Being in the Naini industrial area means dealing with a lot of noise and trucks. Our spot at H-8 is right in the thick of it. L. C. Foods Ltd. isn't some high-tech lab. It’s a place where things get made and moved out. The air smells like whatever we are processing that day. Some days it is better than others. We have a lot of people working on the floor who live just a few kilometers away. They walk or bike in. The machinery is loud so you have to yell if you want to say something. We try to keep things clean but it is an uphill battle in an old industrial area. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to get around to it. We worry about the supply of raw materials and if the transport will show up on time. It’s a lot of logistics and hoping the rain doesn't leak through the roof. We eat our lunch together in the small break area. We talk about our families or the local news. It’s a decent enough place to work if you don't mind getting your hands dirty. We just keep moving. There is always a new batch starting as soon as the old one is finished. We have to keep an eye on the clock all day long.
