Allahabad Canning Co.

Allahabad Canning Co. is located out in Bamrauli. We’ve been here for a very long time, and the place has a lot of history to it. You can find us near the post office area. The building is older, but it’s solid and serves us well for what we do. We spend our days dealing with the canning process, which involves a lot of routine steps that have to be followed. It’s not the kind of work you can rush through. We have a group of steady workers who know the routines inside and out. Some of their parents probably worked here too, back in the day. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed but we stay busy enough. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone writing fancy slogans for us. We just focus on the cans and making sure they are sealed up properly. Sometimes the machines need a bit of a kick to keep going, but we know how to handle them. The office part of the building is small and mostly filled with old ledgers and some newer computers. We like the quiet out here in Bamrauli compared to the middle of the city. It feels like a real community. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, day in and day out, without making a big deal out of it. It’s a practical way to run a business, we think. Everyone knows their job here.
