Hotel Allahabad Regency

You’ll find us at J-16 on Tashkand marg in the Civil Lines area of Allahabad. It’s a decent part of town, 211001, with some trees and wider roads than the older parts of the city. We’ve been operating the Hotel Allahabad Regency for a good while now. It’s not a complicated setup. We have the rooms, a little bit of space outside, and a staff that mostly grew up around this neighborhood. Every day is pretty much the same routine for us. We start early, make sure the lobby is clean, and see who is checking out for the day. Civil Lines is a busy place, so there’s always something happening nearby, but Tashkand Marg stays a bit more relaxed than the main junctions. We don't try to impress people with big words or polished speeches. We just tell them where the room is and how the hot water works. It’s a plain and simple way to run things. Sometimes we have families staying for weddings, and other times it's just people passing through for work. We’ve seen the city change its name and its look, but we just keep doing what we do. It’s a solid building and we put a lot of effort into the daily chores. No big corporate rules here, just a bunch of us trying to make sure the guests have a place to sleep. It’s an honest job. We just keep the rooms ready for whoever needs them.
