Aman Hotel

Aman Hotel is in the old katra area of Allahabad, right near the post office in Katcheri. It’s an old part of town and we’ve been part of the neighborhood for quite a while. The building has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and it serves its purpose. We have rooms for people who are visiting the courts or just passing through 211002. It isn't a luxury place with carpets and bells. It’s just a place to sleep and have a meal. We keep the rooms clean and the food simple. The post office workers come by sometimes, and we see a lot of lawyers too. It can be a bit noisy during the day because of the Katcheri, but it settles down at night. My family runs the place, so someone is always around if there’s a problem with a tap or a light. We don't have a website or anything like that. People mostly just walk in because they saw the sign or someone told them about us. It’s a quiet life for the most part. We just try to be helpful to whoever walks through the door. It’s just a regular hotel in a busy part of the city. We don't offer much in terms of extras, but we make sure the beds are made and the fans work. It's honest work and it pays the bills for our small staff.
