Grand Continental Hotel

People often find us here on Sardar Patel Marg. It’s a busy part of Civil Lines, and the noise from the road usually starts early in the morning. We’ve been running the Grand Continental Hotel for quite some time now. The building shows its age in some spots, but we try to keep things tidy. Most days, it’s just the usual routine of checking people in and out. The hallways are long and sometimes a bit dim when the sun goes down. We have a lot of regular travelers who stop by because they know the area. The lobby has a few old chairs where people wait for their taxis. It isn’t anything fancy, just a place to stay while you’re in town for work or visiting family. Our staff has been here for years, so we all know each other well. Sometimes the plumbing acts up, or a lightbulb needs changing, and we just get to it when we can. The view from the upper windows looks out over the trees in the neighborhood. It’s a decent spot if you need to be near the main offices around here. We don’t do much advertising. People usually just see the sign from the street or hear about us from someone else. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so the fans are always going. It’s just a standard hotel with people coming and going at all hours. We stay busy enough.
