Higher Education Trust

We are over in Tagore Town. It is one of the nicer and quieter parts of Allahabad to work in. Our office is a bit tucked away, which is nice because it stays relatively calm compared to the busy city center. We handle a lot of administrative things related to the higher education trust. It is mostly paperwork, filing documents, and talking to people on the phone. The office has big windows that look out onto the street, but we usually keep the curtains half-drawn to keep the afternoon heat out. There are wooden cupboards full of files that have been sitting here for years. We are not a big corporate office with glass walls and modern art. It is more of a traditional setup that feels comfortable. We have a few old desks and a water cooler that hums in the corner all day. Sometimes the printer jams and we have to spend twenty minutes coaxing it back to life. That is just a normal part of the day for us. We drink our tea in the afternoons and look over the schedules for the coming weeks. It is a steady pace of work and we are not trying to rush through everything. People come to Tagore Town to see us when they need help with their educational paths or trust matters. We just sit down with them and go through the forms.
