Hari Brick Field

Our place is on the third floor of the Shiv Mahima Complex. If you know MG Marg, we are right there near the Big Bazar. It gets very crowded downstairs with all the shoppers and cars. Finding a parking spot is always a headache in Civil Lines. I usually take the stairs instead of the lift because it is faster. The office is small but it fits what we need. We have some samples of bricks sitting on the window sill. Plot No. 31/59 is where we handle the paperwork and take the calls. Usually, it is just me and one other guy handling the phones. We talk to the kiln drivers a lot. Sometimes the connection is bad and we have to shout. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic sounds coming up from the street. People come in with their plans and we look at them over coffee. We aren't a big corporation. Just a local business trying to get things done. Most of our day is spent checking schedules and making sure the deliveries are actually moving. MG Marg stays busy until late at night. Sometimes I stay late to finish the books. It feels good when a job is finally finished and the customer is happy. We’ve been in this building for a few years now. It’s a solid spot in a busy part of town. We just keep at it every day and try to stay organized.
