Allahabad Bricks Company

You can find Allahabad Bricks Company over at 23/19 in North Malaka. We are tucked right behind the Government Intermediate College. It’s a well-known landmark, so people usually don't have much trouble finding us once they get to that part of town. Being behind a school means it can get a bit loud with the kids during the day, but we’re used to it by now. Our yard isn't huge, so we have to stay pretty organized with how we stack everything so there is room for the trucks. We’ve been here for a while, and the neighborhood has changed a lot, but we just keep doing what we’ve always done. It’s a lot of manual labor, carrying bricks and loading them onto the carts or trucks. We don't have a corporate vibe at all. It’s more like a few of us working together to get the orders filled and delivered. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when the rains turn the yard into a muddy mess, but we manage to keep things going. We don’t do a lot of talking about what we do; we just get to work in the morning and stay until the job is done for the day. If you’re in North Malaka, you’ve probably walked past our gate at 23/19 plenty of times. It’s just a regular part of the street. We’re just local people providing bricks for whoever needs them. Nothing more to it, really. We just work.
