Ajaysaroj

Our office is at 14/1A in the Govindpur Colony area. It’s an LIG flat, so the rooms are a bit small, but we manage to make it work for us. Allahabad is very hot for most of the year, so the ceiling fan is always running at its highest speed. Teliarganj is the main post office area we use for all our letters. Ajaysaroj is the name on all the paperwork we handle. We have a few metal cupboards for storage that are packed with folders. The floor is that old grey stone that stays cool even when it is boiling outside. We usually get our lunch from a small stall down the road. There isn't much space for visitors to sit, so we mostly just handle everything over the phone or through the mail. The small garden outside the window is a bit overgrown with weeds since none of us have the time to fix it. We have a basic computer setup and a printer that tends to jam if you try to put too many pages in at once. Life here is pretty routine and we start early before the sun gets too high in the sky. The colony is full of old trees, so there are a lot of birds chirping in the morning hours. Sometimes the water pressure is low, so we have to fill up buckets in the morning. It's just a regular local place doing regular work every day.
