Sagar Samrat Sea Food is located in the Naranji Muli Chhatralaya Building on Sudama Road. We have been here for a while now. If you know the Sudama Road area, you probably know the building already. We deal with fish and other seafood every single day. It is a very early start for us because the fresh catch does not wait for anyone. The shop can get quite busy, especially on certain days of the week when everyone wants their seafood for dinner. It is a wet and cold environment because of the ice and the cleaning process, but that is just the nature of the business. We are not a big chain or a fancy restaurant. We are a local spot where people come to get their seafood. We spend a lot of time cleaning, sorting, and making sure everything is handled properly. The air always smells like the sea around here. We have regular customers who have been coming to us for years, and we know exactly what they like. We do not have a fancy menu or a lot of decorations. The focus is just on the fish. It is a hard way to make a living, standing on your feet all day in a damp shop, but we are used to it. We just provide what is available from the daily catch and help people get what they need for their meals. It is simple, traditional work that has not changed much over the years.
