We have our main office over at Flat No. 3 in Aishwarya Apartments. If you know the area, it is right on Vallalar Salai, which a lot of locals just call 45 Feet Road. It’s a busy part of town but our spot inside the apartment building stays mostly quiet so we can get things done. Lemahe Riviera Hotels and Resorts Private Limited has been operating from here for a bit now. We spend most of our time managing the different aspects of the hotels and the resort side of things. It’s not a huge operation with hundreds of people in suits, just a few of us making sure the bookings and the maintenance schedules are all sorted out. Sometimes the mail gets mixed up because there are so many flats here, but we’ve mostly got it figured out. We like being in this part of Pondicherry because it’s easy for the staff to get to. The office itself is pretty plain, just desks and some filing cabinets and the usual stuff you’d expect. We don’t really have a big sign out front or anything. Most of our days are spent on the phone or working through paperwork for the properties. It’s hard work keeping up with everything in the hospitality business, but we enjoy the pace of it. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the day-to-day tasks that keep the rooms filled and the guests happy at our various locations.
