Hotel Nallas

You can find us at Plot No 16 in VVP Nagar, over in the Thattanchavadi area. Pondicherry is famous for the beach and the old French town, but we are on the other side of things, right opposite the Industrial Estate. This means most of our guests are people who are here for work or business meetings at the factories nearby. It is not really a touristy spot. Hotel Nallas is a plain building. We have been here for some time now and we know the rhythms of the industrial estate across the way. When the shifts change, the road outside gets very busy. The address is 605009 if you are looking for us on a map. We have basic rooms and not much else to offer. There is not a big fancy restaurant or a swimming pool here. People come here because it is convenient for their work. We keep the place running day in and day out. Sometimes the power goes out in this part of town, but we have a backup generator for that. The staff are mostly local guys who have lived in Pondy their whole lives. We do not use big words to describe what we do. We just open the doors, clean the rooms, and let people stay. It is a simple life for us. The neighborhood is actually quite quiet at night once the factories finally slow down. It is a good spot for work.
