Swarnima Organics

Our place, Swarnima Organics, is located at 4/135 in Sadayagounden Pudur, which is near Anthiyur in the Udumalpet area. It’s a quiet spot, away from the big city noise. We work with organic products, which mostly means we spend a lot of time worrying about the soil and the weather. It isn't a high-tech operation. We use our hands a lot and we’re often covered in dirt by the end of the day. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just trying to grow things the way they used to be grown. The shop or storage area we have isn't fancy. It’s a practical building that holds our tools and our harvest. We don't have a marketing budget or a social media person. Most people find out about us by word of mouth or by driving past the fields. We value the quiet life out here. Sometimes the crops don't do what they're supposed to, and we just have to deal with it. It’s a humble way to make a living, but it feels right to us. We aren't interested in being a huge brand. We just want to provide something decent to the people who live around Udumalpet and Anthiyur. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us connected to the land. We just take it one season at a time and see how it goes.
