We started Namdhari Seeds a while back and it’s been a busy journey since we set up at No: 1, Kamaraj Nagar. Dealing with seeds is a lot of work, mostly because the weather doesn’t always do what you want it to. We spend most of our days making sure the stock is right and talking to folks who come by looking for something specific to plant. Sometimes the shop gets a bit dusty, but that's just how it is when you’re handling bags of seeds all day. It’s not a fancy place. We have a small team here and we just focus on getting things done. If someone asks for advice on what grows best around here, we tell them what we know from experience. We’ve seen good seasons and bad ones. The office is tucked away in Kamaraj Nagar, and it’s where we handle the paperwork and the shipping. We don’t have any big corporate speeches or anything like that. We just come in, check the inventory, and make sure the orders get out on time. People in the neighborhood know where we are. It’s a straightforward business and we like it that way. We don't spend much on big signs or anything. Mostly, we just keep busy with the seeds and the seasonal rush. It’s a lot of manual labor, lifting bags and sorting through batches, but it keeps us on our toes. We’re just regular people trying to do a decent job every single day for everyone.
