Dait College

Dait College is situated in Pollachi, which is a place known for its greenery and coconut trees. We are tucked away in a corner of the town where it is relatively quiet. The college isn't a massive place with a big stadium or anything. It’s just a few blocks of buildings where students come for their higher studies. Most of the people who come here are from the surrounding villages and towns in Tamil Nadu. We have labs and classrooms that are functional but not very fancy. The furniture is mostly wooden and has been around for some time. We have a small office where we handle all the admissions and the exam paperwork. It gets quite busy there during the start of the year. The staff mostly talks in Tamil, though classes follow the required syllabus. We have some trees on the campus where students sit and talk during their lunch hours. It’s a very relaxed environment, not like those high-pressure colleges in the big cities. We don't have big advertisements or a dedicated PR person. People hear about us from their neighbors or relatives who studied here before. We just open the gates every morning and get on with the teaching. It’s a practical place for local students who want to stay close to home while they get their degree. There’s nothing very complicated about how we run things here.
