Our business is tucked away on Krishna Kovil Street in Kinathukadavu. It’s a narrow enough street, so things can get a bit tight when we have big shipments coming in or going out. Even though the name sounds a bit formal, we are just a local operation with a handful of employees. We spend most of our time out in the work area rather than sitting behind a desk. Kinathukadavu is a nice place to work, and being near the temple street means there is always a bit of life around us. We don’t have a fancy lobby for visitors. Usually, if you come to see us, you’ll find us in our work gear, probably busy with a task. We have a routine that we’ve followed for years now. It involves a lot of checking on materials and making sure the machinery is greased up. We don’t really do any big marketing. Most of our work comes from word of mouth or people just walking in because they saw our sign on the street. It’s a practical way to run a business. We try to keep our overhead low and our focus on the daily tasks. Sometimes we run into delays with supplies, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s a straightforward life here on Krishna Kovil Street. We just do our bit and hope the local folks keep coming back when they need us.
