Jk Lakshmi Cement

We are out here in J K Puram, right along an unnamed road in Basantgarh. It’s a busy spot most days with the trucks coming in and out of the gates. Most of us living nearby know the place well because it’s been a part of the landscape for quite a bit. The work is steady and it gets dusty, but that’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with cement every single day. We spend a lot of time just making sure everything is running like it should. Sometimes the weather makes it hard, especially when it rains and the road gets messy, but we keep at it. People from the surrounding villages come here for work, and it’s a pretty diverse group of folks. We aren't trying to do anything fancy, just doing the jobs we have. The factory is big, and you can see it from a distance across the fields. Inside, it's mostly about watching the machines and checking the bags. It’s loud, and there is always something needing attention or a part that needs a bit of grease. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just some desks and chairs where we sort out the paperwork between shifts. Most of us have been here for years, so we know each other's families. It’s just a regular workplace where we put in our hours and go home. We don't talk much about big goals, we just focus on getting the day's load ready and keeping the machines running.
