Mandelia College

Mandelia College is part of the Shrimati Indramani Mandelia College campus in Pilani. It’s located in the 333031 area of Rajasthan, which means we deal with a lot of heat and dry weather most of the year. The building is quite traditional and has been standing for many years. We have a lot of rooms for different classes and a library that is usually full of students looking through old books. The staff room is where we all gather to have tea and talk about the day's work. It’s a very down-to-earth kind of place with no fancy decorations or modern art on the walls. We have a lot of students who stay nearby in hostels, so the area is always lively. The office has several old computers and a lot of filing cabinets that are bursting with papers. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we just do things by hand like we used to. We don’t have a big promotional budget, so we just rely on the fact that everyone in Pilani knows where the Mandelia campus is. The floors are swept every day, but the desert sand always finds a way back in through the doors. It’s a busy, functional college that serves the local community without making a big deal out of it. We just focus on the daily routine and keeping things running smoothly for everyone who comes here to study. It is a solid, old-fashioned building.
