Niit

Our place is located on Dr Sadiq Ali Street in Kapurthala. The house number is 12 256, which sounds complicated but once you are on the street, it’s easy enough to spot. Kapurthala is a smaller town, so things move a bit slower here compared to the big cities. We like it that way. The office is right there on the street, and we see the same people walking past every morning. Sometimes a cow blocks the road, and you just have to wait. That’s just life here. We’ve been at this location for some time now. Inside, we have our computers and files all laid out. It gets a bit dusty because of the road work they’ve been doing nearby, so we are always cleaning the desks. My desk is right near the window, which is nice for some light but the street noise can be a bit much during the afternoon rush. We don't have any big corporate banners hanging up, just a small nameplate. People who need us usually find us through word of mouth or by just asking around the neighborhood. Everyone knows everyone on Dr Sadiq Ali Street anyway. We do our work, have our tea breaks, and head home when the sun starts to set. It’s an honest way to spend the day. Nothing too fancy, just a solid brick building where we get our tasks done for Niit. It feels like home after all these years of working from this same spot.
