Lord Krishna Polytechnic College

If you go down the Village Nizampur Subhanpur Road in Kapurthala, you will find our polytechnic college. It is a bit out of the main city center, which makes it a bit quieter than the shops downtown. We have been working out of this location in Punjab for some time. The area around here is mostly fields and open space. Students come here to learn technical stuff like mechanics or electrical work. It is a practical place. The workshops have tools and machines that the students use every day. It gets a bit oily and noisy in the practical rooms, but that is how you learn this kind of work. We aren't trying to be fancy or anything. We just provide the space and the equipment for the guys to learn. The staff here are mostly practical people who have been in the industry before. Sometimes the bus is late or the power goes out, but we just deal with it. It is a regular part of life here. The office handles the admissions and the certificates, and it's usually piled high with folders. We know most of the people in the village and the surrounding areas. It’s a honest living for us. We just keep the doors open and the machines running so the students can get their training done without too much fuss from anyone at all.
