Verbals Clothings is based in Motihari, specifically in Ward 23, Belbanwa. It’s right there in East Champaran. We deal with clothes, as the name says. We chose this spot because it’s where we live and know everyone. The streets can get a bit crowded during market days, but that’s just how Motihari is. We aren't trying to be some huge international brand. We just want to make clothing that people around here actually want to wear. It’s a regular building, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, we have our workspace set up. We spend most of our hours looking at fabrics and talking to suppliers. Sometimes things arrive late, and we have to scramble to get things sorted. That’s just part of the business. We don’t use any fancy talk to describe what we do. We just make clothes. If you’re walking through Belbanwa, you might pass us without even noticing. We like staying local. East Champaran has its own rhythm, and we try to stick to it. It’s a lot of manual work and long afternoons. We don’t have a big corporate team, just a few of us working together. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on. We are glad to be part of the neighborhood here in 845401. Some mornings we spend just cleaning the front because of all the rickshaws passing by. It keeps us grounded and connected to the street life.
