Surya Child Clinic

We've been running Surya Child Clinic on Bailey Road for a while now. If you know the Sheikhpura area, we’re right opposite Durga Asharam, which is pretty easy to find if you're coming from Big Bazar. It gets busy around here, especially with the traffic on the main road, but we try to keep things moving. The clinic is mostly where local families bring their kids when they have a fever or need a regular checkup. It’s not a big fancy place, just a regular clinic where we see children every day. Most people who live around Sheikhpura or come to the mall end up stopping by if their little ones aren't feeling well. We spend a lot of our time talking to parents and checking heights and weights. Sometimes it’s just a common cold, and other times it’s more. We keep our doors open throughout the day. It’s a bit noisy outside with the buses and cars, but inside we just focus on the kids. There’s always someone waiting in the chairs. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us making sure everything is handled. Being near Big Bazar helps because parents can grab what they need after their visit. We’ve seen many kids grow up in this neighborhood. It’s just how things go here in Patna. We keep the space clean and try to be helpful to anyone who walks in from the street. We’re just a small part of the community.
