Finding us in Patna can be a bit tricky if you aren't from around here, but Sunrice Newborn And Child Hospital is basically tucked behind the Surya Mandir in the Ali Nagar Colony. We are near the Police Colony area in Anisabad. It gets pretty noisy on the main roads, so being a bit back in the colony helps a little with the peace, though with newborns and small kids around, it is never really silent. You hear babies crying or toddlers running in the hallways most of the day. The building is just a normal place, nothing too grand. We spend a lot of time talking to parents who are worried because their little one has a fever or isn't eating right. Patna gets so hot in the summer months that we have to make sure the fans are always going full speed. The staff here has been together for a good bit of time, so we all know how the routine goes. It is a lot of checking temperatures and making sure the kids are comfortable. People come from all over Anisabad and even the surrounding parts of Patna because they know where the temple is. We don't have those big fancy waiting areas with TVs, just rows of chairs and a lot of toys scattered around that kids have dropped. It is a busy life looking after newborns, but we just keep at it every day. The registration desk is always a bit piled up with files.
