Shiv Shishu Hospital

We are located at K-208 in P C Colony, right in the Hanuman Nagar part of Kankarbagh. This is a children's hospital, so as you can imagine, it gets pretty noisy with kids crying or running around. It is a busy neighborhood and we are right in the middle of it. The hospital has been a part of this community for a while now. We deal with everything from fevers to more serious stuff that kids get. It is a practical place. We do not have any of those fancy play areas you see on TV, but we have enough toys scattered around to keep a child busy for a few minutes while they wait. The parents who come here are usually from around the area, and they know us by name. The staff is used to the chaos that comes with working with children. Sometimes the lines are long, especially during the flu season, and we do our best to get through everyone. We are just a group of people working in a building trying to help kids get back to playing. The walls have some drawings on them, and the furniture is well-used. It feels like a real place, not some sterile corporate office. We just do our jobs and hope the families feel a bit better when they leave. It is hard work but seeing a kid stop crying is worth the long hours we put in here.
