We are tucked away in the Shanti Niketan Compound on Freser Road. If you go behind the Times of India building, you’ll find us. It’s a quiet spot compared to the main road, which is nice. We handle various media tasks, mostly related to local news and printing. The office is usually full of old newspapers and stacks of documents. It’s not the most organized place, but we know where everything is. We have a few reporters who come in and out all day, and the rest of us stay back to handle the admin side. The equipment is a bit dated, but it gets the job done. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away at desks that have seen better days. There's a small tea stall just outside the compound where we usually hang out during breaks. It’s a small operation, really. We don't have big corporate meetings; we just talk across the room to get things sorted. People in the area know us as the local media folks. We’ve been in this compound for quite a few years now. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work somehow. Some days are slower than others, but there is always something to write about or print. We just keep moving along with the news of the day.
