Liliya Enterprises

We are over in Kadamkuan, right on Pir Mohani Road. It's near the Christian Kabristan and the Uma Cinema is a good landmark if you're trying to find us for the first time. It's a crowded part of town but that's where all the action happens. We do a bit of everything here at the enterprise. It’s a small place, mostly dealing with supplies that other local businesses need for their daily operations. We’ve been in this old building for many years. The walls are a bit dusty and the stairs are very narrow. We have a lot of stock packed into a small space. It's mostly me and my nephew running things day to day. We know the people around here very well. Sometimes people just stop by the shop to chat for a while. We don't have a big corporate structure or a manager. If something needs doing, we just get up and do it ourselves. The traffic on Rajendra Path can be a real nightmare in the late afternoons, so we try to get our heavy deliveries done early in the morning. We don't spend any money on fancy marketing or flyers. People know where we are located. We've seen many businesses come and go around Uma Cinema, but we've managed to stay put. It's a lot of manual work, like lifting heavy boxes and keeping track of inventory on paper notebooks. We use a computer for the bills though. It’s a basic life but it works.
