Saraswati Enterprises

We are located in Saraswati Arcade on R.K. Bhattacharya Road. It's right in the Salimpur Ahra area, very close to the Golambar. It's a very busy part of the city to be in. There's always people and cars moving around outside our doors. Our office is tucked away inside the arcade. It’s a bit of a maze in here if you’re not used to the building. We deal with various business supplies and services. It’s a family-run place through and through. My father started it a long time ago and now I’m handling more of the day-to-day stuff. We have a lot of old files and catalogs lying around the office. We’ve been here for a long time, so we know most of the other shop owners in the arcade. We don't do any big advertising or posters. People just know Saraswati Enterprises is here because we've been around. Sometimes the lift in the building doesn't work, so we have to carry things up the stairs. It’s good exercise I suppose, even if it's tiring. We keep regular hours, usually opening up around ten in the morning and staying late. We take a long break for lunch because it gets so hot in the middle of the day. We don't have a polished sales pitch for anyone who walks in. You just come in, tell us what you need, and we see if we can help you out. That’s how things work for us.
