We run things out of Shanti Lok Appt in Sheikhpura, specifically at Fn.C/304. It’s where Smt. Sushma Sinha and Sri Raju Kr Sinha handle the day-to-day for Rdmo Organic Vegetables Grower. We spend most of our time out with the plants, but the apartment in Patna is our home base. Honestly, growing vegetables this way takes a lot of patience. You can't rush the soil. Some days the Bihar heat is really something else, and we're just out there trying to keep everything hydrated. We didn't start this to get famous or anything. We just liked the idea of farming without all the extra stuff added to the dirt. It’s a lot of manual labor, getting our hands dirty every single morning. People in the building probably see us coming and going with mud on our boots. That’s just part of the job. We aren’t some big corporate office with fancy suits. It’s just us and a few helpers sometimes. We handle the seeds, the water, and the weeding. Most of the planning happens around the kitchen table in the flat. It’s practical work. When the harvest comes, it feels like all that sweat was worth it. We’ve had good years and some tough ones where the rain didn't show up. You just learn to deal with it. Living and working in Patna, you get used to the noise, but out where the vegetables are, it’s a bit quieter. We keep our ledgers in a corner of the living room, and sometimes it gets a bit chaotic.
